Reinforced Pergolas are larger residential pergola structures with long spans between posts. With our Steel Insert System (US Patent #8061106) a six post pergola can be as large as 16' x 16'. The A Beam is used on the perimeter and in the middle to support ribbed cross beams which allows for a spacious open area under the pergola.
